Do you know how the full/evo system looks like with regard to the lenght of the collectors? Just curious whether the can will be fixed to the right footpeg like OEM or whether it is Arrow-like!

I got the official information that there are 2 slip-on systems and the racing and Evo full systems. But I think that there will be both the long and the short option on both. The short option will be like the pic on their website and mounts on the front foot rests (first pic below) .... if you 'save as' this pic from their website you will notice the file name says ' slip-on short' in it, meaning there must be a 'long' option as the second slip-on. I guess thus there will be the Evo and racing full system with various cans, I believe hex, short etc, in other words with both mounting options. Look at the second pic attached and notice that it has a short can but full system.

So basically I think we get to choose either a slip-on or full system with either the long or short cans depending on taste

P.S. This is the words from Akrpovic to my local disctributor here in ZA:

Nigel, thanks for the info. I don't think BMW changed something major. Maybe it's the oilpan or something. We just have to be patient for another 2 weeks!

I got this from Arrow. It is the dyno sheet showing the slip-n vs. the stock exhaust. I cannot believe that the pre series units were standard. This is 30 hp stronger than the Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda which were 158-160 stock on their dyno. BMW must have done something to the pre production units!! I do not accept this dyno sheet.

If they mean the power at the crank, then it is still realistic. But if this shows rear wheel ... no way!

Thats the problem. It is a dynojet and all of their other charts for their other bikes show realistic rear wheel hp. I think the pre-series bikes were 'massaged'. Just a few weeks and we will know. If the Akrapovic site shows the same, then we will know.

Sorry aber die Suzukis und Yamis etc. haben auch nicht die Leistung die angegeben wird und es juckt keinen!!

Also mich juckt es schon, dass die Maschinen erst mit einer Komplettanlage/Abstimmung die Werksangaben erreichen. Und den Unterschied merkt man auf der RS sehr wohl. Da ich aber nichts dagegen machen kann, habe ich mich halt damit abgefunden!

The figure BMW gives (193) is at the crank. The figure you see from Akrapovic (185) is at the wheel. BMW figures seem to be less than the actual bike makes. No problem there!!
