Hi Romo
possibly friction of the pads on the disk, separate a little the pads away the disk( gently!) with a screwdriver. perhaps is a little metalic inserts in the pads material. I don't think the cause is the chain. Another possiblity is poor lubrication on the lips of axle grease seals.
Nothing serious, IMO
This seems to be a problem for the soap and water washers in the hot climates like me . Just spray wd40 or similar on the spacers left and right side of the wheel and it goes away. Sounds horrible but it has a very simple cure.
P.S. I checked the pads and chain runners with mine and all was ok. It seems as if it comes from the spacers running agains dry dust seals. The noise went away after a short squirt of lube in the spacer/bearing areas.

Yes... sounds like the same thing... The easiest way to figure out if it is is to spray a little chain lube in between the sprocket and the wheel (on the spacer)... and it should go away. I haven't taken mine apart yet... just sprayed the spacer and it fixed it... but it may be temporary, so if it comes back, I just plan to take the rear axle/wheel out to remove the spacer and then just clean up that area.
I'd also mail it to the Motherland as well.
That way a note may get sent to all dealers who might think the rider(s) are nutty as this seems to be one of those "Does it now, but not in their shop" things.
