Mein lang ersehntes Stück ist heut gekommen und am Montag wird der Akra Endtopf montiert !!!
Di oder Mi Zulassung und dann heim in die Tiefgarage.
Dann nur noch den Kalender um ein paar Wochen vordrehen und schon ist die Saison eröffnet !!!

How did you manage to get a black swingarm? Did you get the original one painted?

I ordered the same color and would love to just get the black swingarm put on at the factory, it's painful to know that they are sitting around right there when the bike gets assembled but that I'm stuck with the less than great looking silver one...

Habe letzte Woche mit einem guten Bekannten, welcher bei BMW (Schweiz) AG arbeitet, die Liefersituation in der Schweiz abgeklärt. Die Kunden welche ihre noch vor Januar bekommen, haben sie für den Motorsport bestellt, sonstige Sonderdeals soll es keine geben. Im Januar und Februar gibt es fast keine Produktionen für die Schweiz, erst ab März wieder.

Living in Saudi Arabia, but the S1 was delivered to me in Denmark as I will be using it here and in Germany, so I might see some of you during holidays here in Europe in autumn and summer.
We have currently 30 C in Jeddah So good opportunity to drive the Duc.

P.S the akra sound is awesome...

Could you provide more details? Did you get it painted at a specialized paint shop or at the BMW dealer? What was the cost? Did the swingarm and or other parts have to be removed?

If it's not too expensive and I can find a place in Munich, I'd very much like to do the same.

it was done by the dealer direct and the swingarm had to be removed. Total cost for was only 60 Euros.
